  Caribou Flats has a lot of trails that
provide some fun driving and mud running. Located just outside Nederland (30 minutes from
Boulder), the trails can be taken as an afternoon drive or, coupled with some of the other
trails in the area (Slaughterhouse or Gold Lake road) a
nice day trip. Depending on when you attempt the run  and weather
conditions, the trail can be tame or a fun slimy mud run. Just be careful of deep water...
puddles can kill a vehicle!
