This trail has a few moderate spots and for the most part is easy.
The trail finishes by dropping down to the ghost towns of Animas
Forks and California Gulch after crossing the Cinnamon Pass.

The trail starts in Lake City. Either take Engineer Pass or Route 149 from Gunnison. Travel
on 149 south and then take a right turn at County Road 30.
