Summary

Where to the trail A tough trail with lots of stream crossings, rocks, and tough obstacles. Not for the faint of heart.

Trail Report

Jenny Creek Trail is a tough trail that requires both a good driver and a stout vehicle. Unlike her tame brother (Rollins Pass East), Jenny Creek offers lots of obstacles including stream crossings, rocks, and more. As you start up FR 502 you will encounter two 'bridges'. Be careful on these! Immediately after the second bridge the trail will fork and you want to take the left branch. This will take you back into the river and up the valley until you finally climb back onto the Rollins Pass Road.

How to Get There

Get to Rollinsville (Take119 south from Nederland or north from Blackhawk) From Rollinsville, take Forest Service Road 16 west and follow the signs for Moffatt Tunel and Rollins Pass (Moffat Rd. & FR 149). 5.4 miles from the Rollins Pass trail head is Forest Service Road 502 (on the right) This is it!
