| Trail Report |
| Waterton Canyon is a great place to run if you are not looking for hills and like to run on trail like paths. It is six miles to the damn from the parking lot. Big Horn sheep and deer are often sighted on route. Dogs are not allowed in the canyon. Great place to train for a half-marathon or marathon. Restrooms available at miles 0, 2, 3, and 6. |
| How to Get There |
| Denver Area - From C470 take Wadsworth south (121) about 5 miles. If you get to the Lockheed Martin Guard you've gone too far. Turn right at just before the LM plant and look for parking at Discovery Pavilion or at the actual parking lot .25 mi further. |
